Last week we had an amazing morale-boosting staff inservice day on cultural diversity guided by Tracie Hall of Dominican University. Every now and then, and especially this time of year, it's nice to be reminded of what an absolutely fantastic and talented staff the Kankakee Public Library has. We are as diverse as the day is long - white, black, Latina, gay, straight, religous, agnostic...you name it and we have someone here represented!
